    [Note the date discrepancy with intentions, p. 156: these may Certify that the Intention of Marriage Between Bethual Drake & Elizabeth Smith Both of Stoughton Entered with me ye Subscriber April ye 29 1785. Given that the return of the marriage is 2 years after the fact, the intention is probably the correct year of marriage. According to Source:Drake, Louis Stoughton. Drake Family in England and America, 1360-1895, p. 82, the first child was born Jun 1786 which also suggests the marriage occurred in May 1785.]
