Research Notes

  • cos1776 Note: According to son Elijah, his grandfather (Bethuel's father) had removed to Guilford, NC by 1773. Elijah does not specify a location for his parent's marriage, but since his mother (Hannah Dicks) was from that area, it seems likely that this marriage took place in North Carolina. More research is needed.
