15 Nov 1731: John Davis Yeoman John Holdins Yeoman and Sarah his wife Eleazer Nutting husbandman and Abigail his wife Benjamin Farnworth Jun'r and Patience his wife all of Groton Children and heirs of John Davis late of Groton aforesaid deceased, for £13 and security given for maintenance of our honored Mother Mehetabel Davis of Groton, convey to John Pratt late of Maldon now of Groton Cordwainer convey land in Groton formerly the Estate of our honored father John Davis and set off to our Mother as part of her thirds of Dower of about 26 acres, plus an additional acre bounding it.
