↑ Source:Holton, Edward Payson. Genealogy of the Descendants in America of William Holton, p. 60, identifies this as the Benjamin Chamberlain, s/o Richard Chamberlain and Abigail Wright, b. Northfield 1747. But since the marriage occurred in Brattleboro that Hannah would necessarily marry a man from Northfield, and indeed the Benjamin Chamberlain that lived in Brattleboro appears to be a different man. He was born in Templeton, MA, 1758 and his first wife d. 1817, so a marriage in 1825 is feasible.
