WOODBURY, Benajah and Nabby Brewer, June 27, 1805.
↑ It is believed that the published transcription of the record is correct. However, it has been indexed by familysearch as "Brown" and it is possible to see why. Unfortunately there is an Abigail Brewer (d/o Jonas and Elizabeth, b. 1783) and an Abigail Brown (d/o Daniel and Eunice, b. 1785) born in Royalston. Jonas Brewer has no probate, and Daniel Brown died when his daughter was still unmarried. This seems to be the only marriage listed under either name in Royalston. No death record has been found for Abigail Woodbury, her husband being a widower in 1860, but not located in the 1850 census. So no evidence has been found to conclusively rule out one case or the other.
