Genealogical History of the Rice Family : Descendants of Deacon Edmund Rice, p. p. 72, identifies the wife of "Barzilai" Rice as "perhaps Abigail Flagg", presumably because he shows Benjamin Flagg (her father) as administrator of Barzilla's estate in 1741. This is further confirmed by the will of Abigail's 2nd husband who includes "Elijah Rice son to my Wife Abigail Hubbard" along with his children by her in disposing of her inheritance from her father.
