↑ Some secondary sources list her as a daughter of Abner Sikes and Mercy Parsons, including Source:Parsons, Gerald James. Parsons Family : The English Ancestry and Descendants to the Sixth Generation of Cornet Joseph Parsons (1620-1683),, p. 560, which shows Experience Wright (signed as Speedy Wright) as a heir of Abner Sikes in 1801, but do not seem to know the name of her first husband. This parentage would make her born 1759 in Springfield, Mass., if true.
