Austin Mann Cooper eleventh child of James and Lucinda Cooper was born in Delaware Co. Ohio on March 15, 1849 and on October 2, 1872 in Fountain Co, In. he married Mary Jane Glascock who was born April 15, 1852 the daughter of Harrison and Rachel Glascock. I have no more information on her parents; only I assume that they are buried in Rockfield Cemetery as there is a very large plot of Glascocks in that section of that cemetery. Austin Passed away August 29, 1907 and Mary Jane on April 21, 1919 and they are both buried in Rockfield Cemetery which is East of Veedersburg, In on the road that turns South at Fountain Central School. They were the parents of six children many of which died in infancy or very young.

1. Miran Cooper was born in Fountain co. In. June 2, 1875 and passed away October 12, 1875 and was laid to rest in the family plot in Rockfield Cemetery.

2. Radie Cooper was born April 25, 1875 in Fountain Co. and on August 21, 1895 she married Jewel D. Tinsley who was born November 4, 1874, I assume in Fountain Co., but not certain. I have no idea who his parents were. Radie passed away September 14, 1912 and Jewel married 2nd Ada May (?) who was born April 15, 1884 and passed away January 20, 1920 and he passed away December 25, 1952 and He and Radie are buried in Rose Hill Cemetery at Hillsboro. They were the parents of five children, only one of which lived to maturity.
a. Kenneth C. Tinsley was born July 20, 1896 in Hillsboro, Fountain Co. and on March 22, 1919 he married Florence L. Williams of Hillsboro. She was born August 16, 1900 in Hillsboro the daughter of Charles E. and Hattie Whitaker Williams. They lived in Hillsboro and also in Denver Colorado and to the best of my knowledge she is still living but Kenneth passed away August 11, 1984 and was laid to rest in Rose Hill Cemetery. They were the parents of one son:
b. Mary C. Tinsley, born in 1898 in Fount. Co and passed away August 11, 1898
c. Mary L. Tinsley, born and died in 1900 in Fountain Co.
d. Hailie M. Tinsley, born and died in 1903 in Fountain Co.
e. An infant son, born and died in 1906.
All of these babies I assume are buried in Rose Hill but not certain.

3. Marion H. Cooper was born in Fountain Co. July 28, 1877 and in Covington, In. (Fount. Co.) on March 19, 1905 he married Sarah Lucinda Billsland who was born in Fountain Co. February 27, 1883. She was the daughter of James and Eliza (Bastion) Billsland. Marion H. passed away February 18, 1964 and Sarah in 1971 and both were laid to rest in Rose Hill Cemetery. They had four children:
a. An infant son, born and died in 1906.
b. Kermit Cooper was born November 28, 1908 in Fountain Co. and on November 2, 1945 in Indianapolis, In. he married Ilene Snyder who was born in Corydon, In. January 12, 1912. She was the daughter of Alva and Alta (Stonecipher)Snyder. Kermit passed away July 24, 1986 and was laid to rest in Rose Hill cemetery. Ilene to the best of my knowledge resides in Indianapolis at this time.
c. An infant daughter, passed away in 1912. I feel rather sure that these children are buried in Rose Hill.
d. Marion B. Cooper was born June 13, 1915 and on September 15, 1943 he married Mary Ellen Tinsley. I have no information on her only that her parents were James H. (Cap) and Grace (Williams) Tinsley. This family resides in Crawfordsville at this time where Marion is retired as a Vice President of what used to be The Elston Bank and is now National City Bank in Crawfordsville. Marion served as an officer in the Army during WWII. They are the parents of three children:

4. John Cooper, there is no information on him only that in the 1880 census he was 20 days old. I never did check into it any further because of it being so many times removed from my line of Coopers. This subjects father (Austin M. was a brother to my great grandfather.

5. Joseph G. Cooper was born in Fountain Co. In., May 18, 1880 and passed away October 20, 1893. It is possible that these two could be the same one or could possibly have been twins, but Joseph is buried at Rockfield cemetery, but I found no burial site for John, so from the dates this leads me to believe that they are one and the same.

6. Oscar Cooper was born in Fountain Co. in June of 1885 and there is no further information on him, no one seems to know what happened to him. I have heard several stories but the one that I 4eard most was that he moved to Texas and no one ever heard from him. I did find a Mrs. Oscar Cooper buried in Oakhill Cemetery, which would have been in that same time frame but I could never get her tied into the family with any proof. Marion B. had no information on him either.

This concludes the family of Austin Mann Cooper and the collateral on this family was census records, obituaries, newspaper clippings and some from Marion B.
