March the 23: 1765 - there is a purpose of marriages bet[ween] Asa Keeny of Warwick and Abigail Putnam of Middleton in the County of Assex.
↑ So far, Abigail Putnam has not been identified. This marriage does not appear to be in the History of the Putnam Family. The only birth in Middleton is Abigail, d/o Nathaniel Putnam and Abigail Wilkins. He died in 1763, which means both the widow and daughter need investigating. Nathaniel's probate in New Hampshire Provincial Papers, Vol. 38, p. 298, appears to rule both out: the widow still referred to as Abigail Putnam multiple times after 1765, and daughter apparently the wife of Richard Barlow (not a Mr. Scripture as indicated in History of Putnam Family). More research is needed, hampered by lack of information following marriage, but no further candidates seem obvious.
