    Vol. 1, p. 107.

Marrage is Intended Between Asa Burton of Warwick in the County of Hampshire and Mary Buck of Charlemont in said County December the 6 1777.

  2. Source:Allred, Marilyn. Town of Warwick, Franklin County, Massachusetts, Genealogical Records 1739-1900, Births, Marriages,, p. 50, has no information on "Mary Buck of Charlemont". Birth of 3 such women are found in Massachusetts at an appropriate time. One died young, the other is older than Asa, and the third is Molly Buck, d/o William and Mary of Woburn, b. 1753. Based on Asa's suspected birth in Burlington, and William Buck's relocation to Heath in Franklin county where he d. 1801, she is probably the wife. It appears her father has no probate file.
