NICHOLS, Sarah and Artemas Bard (Baker in int.), Aug. 31, 1800.
[Note: intention p. 8, 2nd entry: 2 Jun 1800. See also marriage p. 49 of "Artemas Bard" to Sarah Nichols, 2 entries above a marriage for "Artemas Bard" to Lydia Baker, so some obvious confusion between the two "Artemas Bard" marriages. One is clearly wrong and the intention indicates Sarah married Artemas Baker. Source:Jacobus, Donald Lines. Bulkeley Genealogy, p. 401, names the husband Artemas Beard, but all the Baker children are born to Artemas and Sarah (recorded in Hubbardston), while the Beard children are born to Artemas and 1st wife Lydia, and Artemas and 2nd wife Polly (recorded in New Hampshire). See, e.g., Source:Norton, John Foote. History of Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire, from 1752 to 1887, p. 464.]
