  3. To the best of my knowledge, it is not proven that this Andrew Mitchell is the one who married the widow Abiah Haseltine. However, Wyman's Charlestown, II:679, places him in Haverhill as early as 1701. His first wife, Abigail Atwood died at Haverhill, either 12 or 15 December 1714, per published Haverhill vital records, II:447. Furthermore, Bradford is right across the Merrimack River from Haverhill and, in fact, is now part of the City of Haverhill. This would appear to consitute sufficient evidence to conclude that Abiah (Dalton) Haseltine "probably" married this Andrew Mitchell.
