Andrew Lane & Elizabeth Eames M Dec 5 [16]72.
- The Hingham records say that "Andrew Lane's son" died 1 May 1675. Given that John is born late 1673 and Elizabeth is born late 1675, there is barely room to allow for a son inbetween that could have died on this date. Further, it would have had to have been at least four months old to allow for Elizabeth's birth and it would be surprising that it would not have been named yet. Since nearly all sources give the date 1 May 1675 as the death of Andrew's father, supported by various probate document dated about then, this death record apparently meant to say Andrew Lane's father died 1 May 1675, not his son.
