Susanna Kendall and Amos Reed, both of Woburn, Nov. 6, 1747.
Because of the marriage record and the father's probate, it is possible to say that Susanna married Amos Reed. It appears, possibly, that Amos and Susannah had no children, and thus have no real coverage. Therefore there seem to be few sources that identify Amos beyond his name. Source:MacKenzie, George N. Colonial Families of the United States of America, of unknown, but suspected questionable, quality, says on Vol. 6, p. 329, that Susanna m. Amos Reed and d. 2 Aug 1807. This death is found in Burlington VRs for wid. Susanna Reed with an age of 78, which is a reasonable match. Also found in Burlington is the death of a Amos Reed in 1799, a. 72, which would put his birth about 1727. This suggests he is the Amos Reed, s/o Ralph Reed and Mary, b. 13 Mar 1728. Further research is needed to see if there is any hard evidence to support this.
