Edwin Argall Phillips, 35, living in Port Arthur, born Cedardale, Scott, bachelor, surveyor, son of Edwin James Phillips and Mercy Pauld [sic], married Laura Bell Kreidler-Macey, 39, living in Port Arthur, born Minnieapolis, Minnesota, USA, widow, telegraph operator, daughter of Daniel Webster Kreidler and Cordielia Carlyn Brindley
The marriage registration was very hard to read. The groom's name and his age were not completely accurate and his mother's maiden name looked more like Paull than Card. The bride contributed a great many names including those of her parents. I am assuming that her maiden name was Kreidler and that she was a widow of Macey.
There is no further trace of the couple. The marriage may not be that of Edwin Alexander Phillips, or it may have lasted a very short time.
