  3. Presumably the East Greenwich record showing a marriage in 1753 is correct based on the birth of son Daniel in 1754. But the gap between Daniel and the next child, 6 years, is suspiciously large. If 1754 is a misreading of 1757, for example, then a more normal spacing of births would result, and 1755 would actually be a more likely marriage date. Access to handwritten records is needed to check this. Note that West Greenwich records show the marriage of siblings Robert Bailey and Ann Goff on 24 Aug 1753, so one could argue for a double wedding, or one could argue the possibility of confusion leading to a copy error.
