    [Note: NEHGR, p. 162:111, places this marriage in Chatham citing intentions in Chatham VRs, but marriage from Nickerson Family. Rev. Nathan Stone was the pastor of the church in East Yarmouth, now Dennis, and Yarmouth VRs have both the marriage as well as intentions, so the marriage most likely occurred there. Intentions found on p. 321: "Abner Crowell of Yarmouth and Ruth Nickerson of Chatham ... entered [intentions] March 15th 1777".]
