    "Abel (Bradley) … m (2) Elizabeth _____, …"

This marriage is not proven. The only reference identifying Abel Bradley's second wife as Elizabeth Gaylord is her Find A Grave memorial Elizabeth Gaylord Bradley. Her age at death in 1816 is consistent with a 1744 birth, and one Elizabeth Gaylord, daughter of John, was born in Farmington 2 March 1744, baptized in Southington 15 April 1744. No other marriage for her is found in either the published Connecticut vital records or the published Connecticut church record abstracts. In addition, there was a distant family connection between Abel Bradley and Elizabeth Gaylord.
