Clark in Logan County, Illinois

The three youngest children of David Clark and Sarah Winans came from New Jersey to Illinois. Rev. David Clark was a Methodist minister. He and his wife, also Sarah Winans, had 8 children. John Winans Clark, brother of the Rev. David Clark, came to Logan County with his wife Ann "Nancy" Isgrig. They had 9 children. The eldest son of Rev. David Clark, Rev. Richard Winans Clark, married the second child of John Winans Clark, Margaret Ann Clark, and their descendants live in Logan County to this day.
