There are supposedly six Louis Green Caddells buried in the Belew Cemetery, all cousins, all comtemporary.

Louis Green Caddell and Mary Elizabeth Cranshaw family

Death certificate of Minnie Letha Caddell Haynie who was daughter of Louis and Mary, and filed by Dora Wilson granddaughter of Louis and Mary, has Louis married to Mary Cranshaw. Mary Cranshaw died and was buried in the Belew Cemetery 4 Feb 1940.

Louis Green Caddell and Mary Elizabeth Phillips family

Marriage certificate from Turkeytown, Etowah County, Alabama, 23 Oct 1875, has Louis married to Mary Elizabeth Phillips. Willie Haynie remembered her grandmother's name was Phillips. Question Is Mary Elizabeth Cranshaw and Mary Elizabeth Phillips the same woman? Who was the intervening husband? Or are Mary Phillips and Mary Cranshaw married to different Louis Green Caddells?
