It covers the approximate time period from 896 AD the Danish Vikings invasion to 1688 AD the end of England's Civil War. This is a very well written book and goes into much detail. I have read up to page 38. History and links to resources History at Vision of Britain site This history is from the Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales, produced in (1870-72) by John Marius Wilson. This paper mentions 5 cassettes available from the Bridgnorth Museum containing several interviews on various topics including farming, coaching, wool, the River Severn, Bridgenorth High street, and Apley House Farm. Searched for Ken Perkins who is the museum manager. |
