The antiquities of Bridgnorth - google books This book was written by Reverend George Bellett in 1856. It covers the approximate time period from 896 AD the Danish Vikings invasion to 1688 AD the end of England's Civil War. This is a very well written book and goes into much detail. I have read up to page 38.
