Elisha Walling (Wallen) was born on July 26, 1708 in Salem County, New Jersey, son of Thomas Walling and Sarah Elwell. His death was possibly between 1783 and 1785 in Henry County, Virginia. He married Mary Blevins. She was born ca. 1710, daughter of William Blevins. Elisha and Mary were the parents of nine children. Elisha Wallen is perhaps best known as one of the early Long Hunters in Southwestern Virginia;

Descendants are located in Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, California, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and elsewhere. Includes Craven, Nickell, Renfro, Rice, Sutterfield, Walden, Wilson and other related families. Includes index
