Publication History

This work was originally published in 1886, and subsequently revised, enlarged and published again in 1902. The original listing for this item gave a 1885 date of publication, but that has not been confirmed. There appear to have been numerous reprintings of both the 1886 and 1902 editions. The subtitles for these reprints seems to vary considerably. In addition a supplement was issued in 1888, which might be cited on WeRelate as Source:Waddell, 1888. It is not clear how much, if any, of the supplement was incorporated in the subsequent revisions.
