This series was continued by Clifford K Shipton, through volume 17. A volume 18 was published in 1999, compiled by Conrad Wright and Edward Hanson. The title changed slightly, to Biographical sketches of those who attended Harvard College in Cambridge, Massachusetts. These additional volumes cover years through 1774.
