Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the ancestry and descendants of Claude Robbins (1882-1974) and Rena Thompson. Origins of the Thompson family is through John (Johannes) Thompson, the youngest son of Truls (Tom) Hermundsen Mael and his second wife, Turid Larsdatter Fosse, who brought their family from Norway in 1850 to settle in Minnesota. Origins of the Robbins family is through John Robbins, son of John Robbins, Sr. and his wife, Hester. John Jr. left England in 1638 and lived in Connecticut. In 1916, Claude and Rena married in Minnesota. Their descendants and related families live(d) in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Connecticut, Illinois, California, Alabama, Indiana, and elsewhere in the United States.
