Website history

The current website appears to have been established around September 2020, based on Internet Archive information. The first site appears to have been http://www.rootsweb.com/~ilfayett/ilfayette.htm, which made its first appearance on the Internet Archive in May 1997. This site persisted through March 2008, when it started redirecting to http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~ilfayett/ilfayette.htm . This rootsweb.ancestry site appears to have functioned until 2020 when it was redirected to the current live site.
