Thomas Hatch, believed to have been the first of the name in America, was a resident of Dorchester, Massachusetts, May 14, 1634."--P. 3. Thomas was born about 1603 in England. He married his wife Grace in about 1626 and emigrated to America in or before 1634. They lived in Dorchester, Yarmouth and Barnstable where Thomas died in 1661. Descendants and relatives lived in Connecticut, Wisconsin, Massachusetts, Vermont and elsewhere. [Later descendants of the Blodgett line lived in Utah, Montana and elsewhere.
