"Autobiography of Michael Egan (1816?-1888), an Irish immigrant to Lewis County, Virginia (later West Virginia). He was an officer in the Lewis County militia when the war began, and served with the Union army throughout the war. He died while en route homeward after attending a reunion at Columbus, Ohio of the Grand Army of the Republic of the United States. Includes a roster of Company B, 15th Regiment, West Virginia Infantry Volunteers (p. [411]-414)." (from Family History Library Catalog)
