Bibliographic Citation

EFAB is a periodical (journal) containing multiple articles per issue. Citations should be made to the specific article, rather than the journal. Citation should include Journal-Name Volume (issue):Page(s). The Journal may be abbreviated "EFAB". This journal also keeps track of consecutive issue number. This is a non standard practice, but useful with a periodical that has a history of sporadic publication. Citing the Volume (Issue):Page is the preferred citation format, but this might be amended to include EFAB's Issue number As an example,

Jones, Howard V. 2005. The David Edmondson Family, part 1. EFAB 33(1):10-13 (Number 130)

or:

Jones, Howard V., 2005. The family of David Edmiston: David "Turk" Edmiston of Augusta County Virginia, parts 1 through 4. Edmondson Family Association Bulletin 2005(1-4).

The current practice appears to be to publish four issues per year. Publication history, however, appears to be erratic (Note that volume 33 was issued in 2005, but the previous volume 32 was issued in 1999-2000.) Each issue is also consecutively numbered, apparently ignoring any gaps in publication. Thus Volume 32(4) issued in 2000 was numbered 128 and 129, while the next issue (volume 33(1) issued in 2005 was number 130.
