Tristram Coffin (ca.1605-1681) married Dionis Stevens, and immigrated in 1642 from England to Haverhill, Massachusetts, later moving to Newbury, Salisbury, and finally to Nantucket, Massachusetts. Other immigrant Coffin families are listed, without tracing connections. Descendants and relatives lived in New England, South Carolina, Tennessee, Louisiana and elsewhere. Includes some ancestry in England to the 1500s.
