The Society (founded 2001) is dedicated to the preservation and dissemination of the history of Norwich Connecticut. To fulfill this dedication we shall:

Goals

  1. Encourage the study of Norwich history.
  2. Educate and enlighten persons about this history.
  3. Identify, collect, and preserve historical items such as documents, artifacts, memorabilia and personal recollections
  4. Encourage the acquisition and restoration of historic buildings and sites.
  5. Observe significant dates in Norwich's history
