Ulley is a village and civil parish which, since 1974, has been located in the Rotherham Metropolitan Borough of South Yorkshire, England. The population of the civil parish at the 2011 Census was 172. It is located about 4 miles (6 km) south of the town of Rotherham and 7 miles (11 km) east of Sheffield city centre. Ulley was originally a township part in the ancient parish of Aston cum Aughton and part in the ancient parish of Treeton, both in the Strafforth and Tickhill Wapentake of the West Riding of Yorkshire.
