MOULTON, a township in Middleton-Tyas parish, N. R. Yorkshire; on the Richmond and Darlington railway, 5 miles NE by E of Richmond. It contains the hamlets of High Gaterley and Low Gaterley, and has a station on the railway. Acres, 2,954. Real property, £2,997. Pop., 244. Houses, 49. There are a chapel of ease and a Wesleyan chapel.
