Middleton is a small village and civil parish in the Ryedale District of North Yorkshire, England. It is situated on the A170 road to the west of Pickering.

Prior to the nationwide municipal reorganization of 1974, Middleton was located in Pickering Rural District. Historically, it was an ecclesiastical parish in the Pickering Lythe Wapentake. It was in the Pickering Registration District.
