GENUKI states: Moulton St. Michael is about 7 miles N.N.E. of Diss. It is also known simply as Moulton and as Great Moulton. Both of these names have been redirected here.

Wikipedia uses Great Moulton as the placename and describes it in the present day: "Great Moulton is a civil parish in the English county of Norfolk. It covers an area of 5.66 km2 (2.19 sq mi) and had a population of 699 in 289 households at the 2001 census, increasing to 751 at the 2011 census. For the purposes of local government, it falls within the district of South Norfolk."

Little Moulton was a separate parish until the sixteenth century. Since then it has been included in Moulton St. Michael or Great Moulton.
