Little Berkhamsted is a village and civil parish in the East Hertfordshire District of Hertfordshire, England , five miles south-west of the town of Hertford. The 'Little' is to distinguish it from the town of Berkhamsted (which was once known as Great Berkhamsted or Great Berkhampstead) although the two places, whilst in the same county, are not near each other.
The village is in a hilly location, some 120 metres (400 feet) above sea level. Little Berkhamstead includes the hamlet of Epping Green.
