Govans today is a neighborhood in independent Baltimore City, Maryland, USA.

For much of its history, it was called Govanstown and was a village in Baltimore County located north of the Baltimore City line. It was named after William Govane, who received a tract of land from Frederick Calvert, 6th Lord Baltimore, in 1755.
