Gamston (West Bridgford) is a civil parish and a suburb of West Bridgford, in the Rushcliffe District of Nottinghamshire, England. The population of the civil parish as of the 2011 UK census was 2,164. It is situated approximately 3 miles (5 km) southeast of Nottingham.

A Vision of Britain through Time provides the following description of Gamston (West Bridgford) from John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales of 1870-72:

"GAMSTON, a township in West Bridgford parish, Notts; on the Grantham canal, 3 miles SE of Nottingham. It includes part of the village of Bassingfield. Population: 110. Houses: 18."

Gamston was originally a township of West Bridgford. It became a separate civil parish in 1866. Bassingfield had greater links to Holme Pierrepont parish and has been redirected there.
