Winifred Jeanette, 85, 464 Jamesway, Marion, died Saturday at the Sunbridge Rehabilitation Center.

She was born in Fremont to Harry and Edna (Hanson) Chapman. On June 10, 1937, she married Joe Jeanette Jr in Auburn, Ind, and he survives.

Mrs. Jeanette was a member of the Eastern Star and worked at the Bettsville Post Office. She was a 1936 graduate of Bettsville High School.

Survivors include son Gary (Mary) Jeanette of Lindsey; daughter, Mrs. Sharon (Vernon) Bramel of Danville OH; brother, Paul Hanson of Tiffin; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded by sister Elean or Addis, one grandson and two great-grandchildren.
