    Fought at the Battle of Quibbletown and Brunswick, the taking of British General John Burgoyne at the Battles of Saratoga (; in reserve for the Battle of Monmouth but engaged in battle with the enemy the day before;
    Discharged from service in 1780.
    Son of Benjamin and Mary Sebastian Sudduth;
    married Sarah Roush in 1781.
    Children: Elizabeth who married Levi Lee; Mary married William Millar;
    Lucinda married Jonathan Renick; Susannah married Levi Brown;
    Francis; Jemima W. married John Barnes;
    Peter and William.
    Remains were moved from Old Renick/Herrestine Cemetery to Forest Cemetery.
    Buried in the Millar plot;
    gravesite was marked by the Pickaway Plains Chapter on 5-11-1932.
