Smith, William - born 12/14/1755 in Hanover County, Virginia, son of Francis Smith; entered service 1781 in Louisa County, Virginia, where he resided, in Virginia unit; applied for pension there in 1833, per witness James Poindexter age 68, County Justices of the Peace Frederick Harris & William Nelson, Pension Application Rejected, service not in regularly organized military unit.
