Martin Family Quarterly Vol. 12, #2 August 1986 page 97 has: 

    "Thomas Martin was born ca. 1650 in England and died ca. 1714 in Chester Co., PA., married 30 Nov. 1675 at Reading and Warboro Friends meeting, England, to Margery Mendenhall, daughter of Thomas Mendenhall and Joan Stode.  he resided in Wiltshire Co., England.  Thomas was imprisoned in 1682 in England because of his religious beliefs.  Thomas and Margery came to America in 1685; they left Bristol, England on the Unicorne and landed at Philadelphia.
    Thomas settled in Chester Co., PA where he was a wheelwright.  Even though he was a Quaker there is indication that he was a Baptist when he died."

Apparently the Unicorn landed October 16, 1685.
