Thomas Sumpter Maddox Jr was the son of Thomas Sumter Maddox Senior and Eleanor Beatrice Still. His first wife was Maude Rhodell Pyburn. The couple had three living children, N. Thomas Maddox (also buried at Bayview), Elinor Glynn Maddox and Betty Grace. Thomas next married Eunice Inez Weaver and had a son Raymond Maddox. He is buried with his last wife, Exie Smith.
