    "In the cemetery at Bristol are two upright stones, the inscriptions on which are as follows: "Here lies interred ye body of Deacon Benjamin Cary, who departed this life January 20, 1734, in ye 54 year of his age.' 'In memory of Susannah, widow of Deacon Benjamin Cary, died August 10, 1764, aged 77 years.' Mrs. Cary in her will, proven December 4, 1764, gives to her two surviving sons, Benjamin and Nathaniel, all her real estate and to her grand-daughter, Susannah Cary, £100 lawful money; to her daughter, Elizabeth Clark, all her 'silver plate and indoor moveables, also her servant girl named Caty."
