Will of "Solomon Banister, of Brookfield ... Gentleman" dated 18 Aug 1830, presented 10 Jul 1835, proved 27 Oct 1835, having "made advances unto & aided each & all my children" gives "the little of this world's goods which I may leave behind me" to wife Ruth, she to be executor.
Judge's note[?]: "It is supposed there is but very little property & great amount in debts ... estate will pay no part of the debts ... expedite an Inventory that it may be seen by the record that the creditors can have nothing ... property will no doubt be allowed to the widow".

Petition of Ruth Banister "Widow of Solomon Banister Late of Brookfield ... petitioner was Lawfuly married to the said Solomon Banister on the 21st day of June 1804 that they have Lived together as husband and wife from said time till the second day of July 1835 when the said Solomon Banister died ... Solomon Banister who was a Pensioner of the United States by the Law of the 7th of June 1832" and entitled to receive her husband's pension for the period March 4th 1835 to July 2d 1835.
