A Texas Death Certificate of Sarah's son Marion Robertson states that Marion's mother was a "Miss Drennan" [poorly written, also may be "Drumman"]. Ancestry has the surname transcribed as "Kurman".

There is circumstantial evidence to support Sarah as a daughter of William Drennan (1779-1844) of Abbeville County, South Carolina. Included with William Drennan's Estate Papers is a notation of a "W.M. Robinson" [sic] as a purchaser of two items in William Drennan's Estate sale. This appears to likely be Wesley Marion Robertson, Sarah's husband, indicating Sarah was likely one of his daughters.
