Ezekiel White came from Douglass, Mass., m. Ruth Cree of Douglass who d. 12 Apr 1790.
↑ No marriage record has been found to verify this identification, nor any record of a Ruth Cree. A "Ruth Creed" m. in Douglas 1752 Elijah Balkom. They had a daughter Mary soon after, and son Elijah in 1754 and in 1769 those children chose a guardian, their father Elijah Balcomb being deceased, having attained the age of 14 (Worcester Probate 2796 & 2817). There is no death record or probate for the father, but the last birth in 1754 suggests he died not long after, making his widow available for re-marriage before 1759 when Sarah White, Ezekiel and Ruth's first child, was born.
