Facts and Events
Name[1] Rosa Warren
Gender Female
Birth[2] Abt 1876 Vermont
Heidi Quinn at heidi.quinn@@comcast.net has her as Rose Etta Warren. b. 8 Jan 1876 Chester VT d. 14 Nov 1961 Buried in No. Springfield VT m. 13 May xxxx She says, "My mom and dad have a hair wreath that contains the hair of Rose Warren and other family members. This wreath was created by (as it says on a card attached to the wreath's case) "Mrs. Leonard (Mary) Warren of Gassetts, VT. Died in 1882 - over 80 years of age." who used the hair of a very young Rose in the wreath. Either the writer of this note was wrong about Mary Warren's age at her death, or it is a different Mary Warren than the one in this family line. In Irene's Diaries, Irene calls Rose (before her marriage to Ray) "Mrs. Stevens" and then "Ma"."

Below is Rose & Waldo Stevens' stone (on the left) along with their footstones. There are 3 footstones because their son (it's either Clyde or Nile, I don't remember which) is buried in this plot too. This plot is in the North Springfield, Vermont, cemetery.

Heidi Quinn at heidi.quinn@@comcast.net. has the following on the website http://home.comcast.net/~heidi.quinn/genetic_muster.htm Rose Etta Warren married Waldo Delette Stevens m.27 Feb 1894 [In Irene's 1934 diary she says "Ma married 40 yrs today [1894]" but in her 1935 diary Irene says "Ma's anniversary 42nd [1893]." I think the 1894 date is correct because it is corroborated in the History of Langdon, NH, p 705]

They had a son Ray b. 7 Feb 1908 Saxton's River VT d.25 Jan 1994 Alstead NH. In 1929, was emp. by Western Union Tel. Co., N.Y. City. In November 1940 the town of Alstead paid Ray $5.95 for "labor" and $4.20 for "team", which I assume means the use of his team of horses. He married Irene Covey on 16 Nov 1932 Lakeland FL (1st Baptist Church of Lakeland)
Had son Francis Waldo Stevens born July 27, 1938
