    Robert B. Scoby Sr. was born Feb 1775 in Berkley Co., Va. & died 30 Oct 1835 Clark Co., Kentucky. He was the son of John Scoby & Nancy Russell. He was buried in the Scobee Family Cemetery on Wades Mill Rd. in Clark Co., Ky.

    Robert B. Scobee Sr. was a soldier of the War of 1812. It should be noted the Scoby's changed the spelling of their name from the Scoby to Scobee in the 1810 census.
