Gail writes: We know that Richard Buffington was in Pennsyvania before the grant to William Penn. He owned land in upland in 1677, and then lived in Bradford.

According to LDS Ancestral File the marriage date of Richard and Ann. Abt. 1699; 1710; 1720;. Also, has two more children:

  • Joseph born Abt. 1693 in Chester, Chester Co., PA and died Nov. 17, 1785.
  • Alice born Abt. 1697 in Chester, Chester Co., PA, Died July 19, 1775. Two marriage dates: Jan. 3, 1745 and Abt. 1749.
